Now water issue is a global problem. Especially in some water-strapped countries like China etc.
Most of the lakes and rivers in China was polluted because factories let waste water out and some people just throw rubbish into the river like they don't care at all. You can't drink water from tap directly. You need to boil them completely.
The shortage of water is another big problem. In western China it's a luxurious thing to wash the face everyday. People must get water very far from their home and the volume of water is limited by Chinese government
I hope the government will pay more attention about this water issue.
Shawn - Since I don't know the class very well yet, I don't know who is originally from what country. I'm guessing by your post you are from China. I would imagine, given the little I know about China's booming industries and development, that water would be a huge issue. And not just the availability of water, but also the cleanliness of drinking water would be an issue, it seems. What has been your personal experience with water in China?
